Why this page exists

Norwegian law (ehandelsloven § 8) requires an online service to make its name, address, email, register and organisation number easy to find, and to say whether it is VAT-registered. This page is that information. The same facts appear in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Notes for the owner, remove before publishing

  • VAT line. Brreg returns registrertIMvaregisteret: false today. When BAARS DESIGN registers for MVA (required once turnover passes NOK 50,000 in 12 months, Skatteetaten), change the line to “VAT registered: NO 938 054 037 MVA” and show prices to Norwegian customers including 25% VAT. Once an EU non-Union OSS registration exists, its EU identification number may also be shown.
  • Industry code. The stored note in BAARS DESIGN/company/registration.md (verified 2026-08-07) says 82.990. The live API today says 62.100 “Dataprogrammeringstjenester”. The register has changed since August; update that note.
  • Address. The business address is the owner’s home address, and this page is the only place in these drafts that prints it; the other documents link here. Publishing an address is required by ehandelsloven § 8 (“navn, adresse, elektronisk postadresse”, read on Lovdata 2026-10-30), and the Brreg API already returns this address to anyone who looks up the organisation number (forretningsadresse, public, no login). So the address is public already; the question is only whether the website repeats it or a different business address is registered first. Alternatives and the decision are in the README.
  • Contact email. ronald@baars.design is the business address per the admin policy of 2026-08-10. A product alias (something@baars.design) is recommended for the public pages; both need to be verified as receiving mail before publication (the admin notes flag that the mailbox’s delivery was unconfirmed on 2026-08-10).
